I always dream that weddings were suppose to be romantic like in a fairy tale. If I had to plan the wedding of my dreams it would be on top of a hill, cliff overseeing nature's beauty or in the garden. I have heard of Cinderella, Snow White, and Princess Jasmine from bedtime stories , television shows and movies when i was kid. I dreamed that, one day I shall wear fairy tales wedding dresses on my wedding day. I can be beautiful princesses on my wedding day and that day will come soon (InsyaAllah) . I will have my chance at being the princess marrying my prince in my very own modern fairy tale of a love story.
Though elegant and somewhat elaborate, my wedding day was everything I ever hoped for. I will be wearing a delicate but beautiful sleeveless wedding dress with crystals beadings and semi-precious stones. I will wear a flower crown on my head. The bridesmaid dresses would be lavender. The groomsmen tuxes would be lavender and black. The white arch would decorated in a beautiful array of colors . For the wedding wear shoes, I will wear a Cinderella glass high heel shoes.
Red roses, live birds and nature were the setting for this fairy tale wedding theme. I will decorate the garden with fairy tale theme, using a lot of pastel colored tulle, satin ribbons, bows, pearl, bells, birds, coaches, castles, red roses, ivory decorations, pumpkins and not forget a red carpet too. I will place candles on both sides along the garden path. Enhance the atmosphere of my garden setting wedding with my Cinderella fairy tale theme by adding trellises and arches adorned with flowers and ivy and white chairs draped in tulle. On the reception table, I will locate an ice sculpture made to depict a castle, a horse drawn carriage or a "Glass Slipper" ice sculpture made for the centre of the reception table.
In order to reflect my wedding theme, I prefer a DJ, or actual performers get scores or sound track of the movie Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and favorite songs for background music classical string quartet, a harpist or a solo pianist will be perfect and for dancing. To set the mood for my theme wedding, I will arrive by horse drawn carriage and leave the same way, also I will give rides to my guests between the ceremony and the reception..
